Hello,

We installed GOCD via helm charts and got a new plugin 'Kubernetes Elastic Agent'.
But when we installed GOCD by configuring ourselves we don't find this plugin and nor we see any option to install them.

Does anybody have any idea about this?

Thank You

Hi,

You can use https://github.com/gocd/docker-gocd-server#installing-plugins-using-an-environment-configuration to provide environment variables to download new plugins. Here's how the existing plugins are specified now: https://github.com/helm/charts/blob/master/stable/gocd/values.yaml#L95. The README also has other ways of installing plugins if that suits you better.

Hope this helps.

Hello Rajshri,

We installed GOCD via helm charts and got a new plugin 'Kubernetes Elastic Agent'.

Helm chat is installing the plugin on GoCD server as part of the pre-configuration script based on the environment variable specified in Values.yaml.

But when we installed GOCD by configuring ourselves we don't find this plugin and nor we see any option to install them.

To setup kubernetes plugin on local setup refer installation manual.

PS: in case if you are using minikube for local gocd deployment then refer this for more information.
