svn material error

Hai...while adding svn material to pipe am geeting error.  Failed to find 'svn' on your PATH. Please ensure 'svn' is executable by the Go Server and on the Go Agents where this material will be used.

can anyone help me resolve this??

Hi Proonima,

Firstly, make sure you have svn installed on the agent executing the pipeline. Second make sure your PATH environment variable contains the executing svn path.

If you're using visual svn you can add it by running :-

 setx PATH %PATH%;C:\Program Files (x86)\VisualSVN\bin

Hi Rustin,

    I am using VisualSVN..I alredy added the path..eventhough am getting the same error..:( I have installes Go server+ agent and and set the JRE path..completed the insatallation and started working...https://localhost:8153

Hi,

Can you log onto the agent and try execute svn list  on the command line to make sure svn is actually in your PATH.

For example: svn list http://yourhost.com/reponame/trunk/

When I am trying to add material URL in GO SERVER for SVN getting error as mention below,

"Failed to find 'svn' on your PATH. Please ensure 'svn' is executable by the Go Server and on the Go Agents where this material will be used."

I am using TortoiseSvn and the SVN url from local linux server.

Looking for any support.
