I guess in an attempt to find a silver lining, our coach told reporters, “The first 50 minutes, we did some good stuff. We can build off that. 

I disagree. For most of the game, especially the 2nd period, it seemed like the ice was tilted and everyone was stuck in the Bruins end.

Their goalie made a total of 17 saves. I believe Swayman made 26 saves in just the second period.

I knew it was just a matter of time before the Sabres would break through.

We were outplayed and out coached.

My only silver lining is we kept trying till the game was over.

The hang-on-for-dear-life strategy didn't work, and it won't work. 

Liked the effort last night. Didn't like the tilted ice in the last 10-13 minutes though.
