Hi!

Initially I sent this patch to bug-...@gnu.org, through fencepost, and
got a bounce. Also, I went to look for the archives, but it seems that
bug-less is not a list?

Greetings,
janneke

Hi Jan,

bug-less is not a list?

Right. FYI, fencepost:/com/mailer/aliases is the place to look first in
such situations.

Which shows that bug-less goes to the maintainer's email address (markn
at greenwoodsoftware dot com). Not exactly a surprise that it bounces.

I will tell maint...@gnu.org so they can at least update the
maintainers file and hopefully look for an alternate address. If you
feel like looking for one and have any success, please let them know.
--best, karl.

If I go to the author's web site I see:

http://www.greenwoodsoftware.com/less/

When I look at the "Bugs and Enhancement Requests" it takes me to Github.

https://github.com/gwsw/less/issues

Looking at the FAQ I see:

http://www.greenwoodsoftware.com/less/faq.html#mail
Q: How can I write to the author of less?
A: Less was written by Mark Nudelman and is currently being maintained by him. You can write to him at ma...@greenwoodsoftware.com.
Q: What if I find a bug in less?
A: Please use https://github.com/gwsw/less/issues to report bugs.

So that must be the author's preferred bug reporting now. :-(
