This Thursday, March 7, from 6:30-10pm, OpenCUNY will be hosting
CryptoParty 3.0 at the CUNY Graduate Center, Rm. 5409. CryptoParty is a
grassroots global movement that aims to introduce the general public to the
basics of practical cryptography (i.e. the art of scrambling information
about yourself you=92d rather keep personal, such as emails, computer files,
and IP addresses).

CryptoParty 3.0 is free to attend and open to the public. The focus of this
event is on secured communication in activism, research and journalism but
any member of the GC or broader NYC community with a computer and the
desire to learn about cryptography and how to encrypt their own digital
communications should attend.

Please pass this notice along your channels to any interested parties.
