Debian GNU and terminal info

Hi,
If I were to install debian at any future time regarding terminal, are the commands on the same basis as a debian stable distro IE: the kernel is GNU Mach but the system is debian, apt ect.... or is another system of commands in operation?
If so, is there literature on these commands via official sources?

Most commands are the same, yes.

Some system-related tools are specific, of course, and most of them
have online documentation. Examples include settrans and rpctrace.

It's really just like Debian GNU/Linux, except a few OS-specific things
like inetutils-ifconfig
