Didier - any chance of a new GNU Ghostscript, in general? The latest
Aladdin release is 9.06. Perhaps it fixes the libpng stuff.

Brandon - perhaps there is some cpp symbol that can be defined so png
provides the old symbols. (Fie on backward-incompatible changes,
anyway. We went through plenty of pain in TeX dealing with it.)

Hi,

I will see for this libpng compatibility, Aladin versions includes the libpng in the source tree, maybe they haven't switch to 1.5.x, I need to test !

So, Aladin gs 9.05 include libpng 1.2.x, the switch to 1.5.x was made in
version 9.06 released in august.

I'm close to have a 9.05.0 GNU version and need to test it before
release, please be patient !
