Problem after compiling with g++

Hi,
I am haeve recently dwnloaded the GCC version 4.0.0.
After I compile with g++ and try to run the executable
it gives me following error.

./a.out: error while loading shared libraries:
libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or directory
Kindly tell me the way around with what is the
possible cuase for this.
