I've written a function similar to vm-imap-make-session with a
difference that it will connect and create a session with a news server.
Please help me to figure out as to what value should I pass for the
argument "source" while calling the new function?

believe this is for discussion of Emacs on the VMS operating system
and not the VM news client.
