Hi,

I'm trying to build emacs24 packages for Ubuntu. For that, I use the
Debian packages

http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/e/emacs24

Unfortunately, the packages I manage to build don't have the
emacs.info.gz generated. Do you have an idea where this problem could come from?
If you are interested, the build log is at

https://launchpadlibrarian.net/118664200/buildlog_ubuntu-precise-i386.emacs24_24.2%2B1-1~ppa1~precise6_BUILDING.txt.gz

Thank you

The manual isn't included in the Debian package.  GDFL-licensed documents with invariant sections aren't allowed in Debian main.  It's in a separate package in non-free, called 'emacs24-non-dfsg'.
