sql-mode in emacs 24.1

Hi

I am using sql-mode in emacs 24.1.

M-x toggle-truncate-lines option doesn't not seem to change the display of long lines of output i.e. I still see wrapped lines.

Is there any other setting that I am missing?

I use sql-oracle

Running the following command seems to fix the problem.

set linesize 9999

Is there a prettier way to do this? I set the linesize but the output is still not as pretty as I get from using TOAD.

Any help is appreciated.
