A collegue of mine is developing a texinfo document for the first
time.

Being unfamiliar with texinfo, he uses the texinfo info page
constantly to find out what he should be doing.

He also wants to use info to read the stuff he's writing as he does
it.

Can he read both his info pages and the texinfo info pages in the same
Emacs as the same time? He knows about the stand-alone `info'
program, but wants to use Emacs to do everything.

Any help you can offer, please CC to me at "Chris...@src.bae.co.uk".

Thanks.

Chris.

Currently info is limited to one info buffer at a time. I've written
some patches that will let you have more than one info buffer at once
(you rename the first one, and then start another).

Send me email if you want this version of info.

If your friend finds a node he wants to keep, he can rename the buffer
visiting it (e.g. w/ M-x rename-uniquely) and it won't be molested by
further info commands. However, node switching within that buffer
seems to jump to the *info* buffer, so this isn't a solution which
allows two parallel info sessions.
