You can, but you must be prepared for a really big slowdown. The problem
is that the Keywords: header is not included in the overview database, so
Gnus has to request a piece of every article to get at it. For a big
newsgroup this means maybe two orders of magnitude of slowdown, depending
on the speed of your server and your network link. For a small group it's
not a big deal. Try scoring on "Head" instead of, say, "From". This is
documented in the info node "Score File Format".

It would be nice to be able to do scoring based on the keywords
field. For example, groups like rec.humor.funny use keywords to
clearly distinguish monthly administrative postings from others.

As far as I can see there's no way to score on keywords, or have I

missed something?
