On Emacs 22.2, Win XP, with the following settings
(setq browse-url-firefox-program "C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/firefox.exe")
(setq browse-url-browser-function 'browse-url-firefox)
clicking on a link, or M-x browse-url-at-point launches F'fox with 2
tabs having the same link.
The *Messages* buffer just show
browse-url-firefox
Loading browse-url...done
Starting Firefox...
that's it. How do I fix this? And I just checked Emacs-22.1, I get
the same behaviour there too. Doesn't matter if firefox was already
open or not, too. And if I start Emacs with no-init-file, and load
browse-url, it works fine with IE (IE is the default browser).
