How to change format of file from Binary format to Text

Hi,

Can anyone of you let me know whether we can change the format of
the file in CVS repository (For Eg: From Binary format (-kb) to Text
format).

What I have done was I removed the file which is in binary format first
and then added and committed. It did not work.

Any suggestions regarding this are welcome.

This is covered in the manual, albeit for the opposite direction:

For a text file, you want -kkv instead of -kb.
