We webmasters cannot help you with that. I am forwarding you report to
Chess developers, or you can reach them directly at
<bug-gn...@gnu.org>.

Hello:

I have not heard from the chess developers. The games flawed and is extremely annoying. Why does it insist on taking back moves?

Thank you.

Hi John,

Can you tell us what version of GNU chess you are using?

Also can you give a game score, or detailed example of the problem.

From the description, if you mean the Apple Chess bundled with Mac OS X, it was based on an old fork of GNU Chess long unsupported by GNU developers, and you'd have to raise the issue with Apple, although I've not seen the issue you describe.
