It should be relatively simple to fix this, but at least the 2.0a16,
which I today fetched from ftp.iu.hio.no didn't build correctly in
RedHat Linux 7.2 box.

"make all" ended with following error messages:

make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/cfengine-2.0.a16/doc'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `cfengine.8', needed by `all-am'.
Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/cfengine-2.0.a16/doc'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.21466 (%build)

I think this would be a general problem. It's looking for the
'cfengine.8' file in the doc directory. This file is the UNIX man
page for CFEngine. Does that file exist in the tarball?

Perhaps Mark forgot to add it to this tarball or decided it was
out-of-date and removed it (but didn't update the Makefile.am).
