bash to help out with music training

I'd like to get bash to produce sounds or even make an mp3 of the
session {my bash is about ab-initio}

The idea would be

Loop let's say 1000 rounds

to select randomly from the notes ABCDEFG

to say out loud that letter name in english i.e. "C"
[or at least to play a sound file of that note's name]

to randomly select an octave 1 to 6

to play the sound from 1 in that octave for 2 seconds

hold 4 seconds, goto 1
