Dear All,

This is to inform you that Mr Kamal Rungta has proposed his resignation from MC citing his busy schedule.

MC would have no quorum to conduct any business further after accepting his resignation.

An EGM on Friday 5/2/16 at 8:30 pm has been planned to discuss this matter and to decide further course of action.

As Matter is significant Importance ,we request all members to attend the meeting .

TO THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS,

You are right that matter is quite important & needs consideration.

May  i suggest that please study ,before we meet,all options available under prevailing co-op act .

Put  up before members steps needed to be taken to avoid A7 SOCIETY matters going out of hands.

Also may i suggest that you consult somebody who is familiar with prevailing provisions of the co-op act in relation to situation we are facing or re-elections, if, un aviodable at this point of time.

Also may i also suggest that you consult APEX BODY CHAIRMAN & SECRETARY in the matter & request them to attend our planned EGM to guide members of A7 society. They need to know as to what is happening @ A7.

Respected Uncleji and All,

I have a meeting recently with apex MC members, Co-operative housing societies legal adviser Mr Mansoor from A4 and a officer from Registrar office .

I've discussed our situation  with them.Whatever  I've come to know is as:

• Minimum no for quorum is 3 for functional Managing Comittee.

• Without quorum Managing Comittee can not conduct any business .

Dear All,

This is with respect to the mail from Kalera Uncle, we did discuss this matter with Mr Mansoor, a legal advisor to some of the societies & he stays in A4 building and an officer from Registrar office along with Apex MC members.

The options suggested by them as follows :

1) Co-opt members to MC before accepting the resignation of Mr Rungta and inform the Registrar.

2) Incase, no members come forward for co-option. Inform the Registrar. He would appoint an Administrator to conduct the regular biz of society. Probably it would attract some charges payable by the society. 

3) When asked for preponing the elections, he replied that there is no provision of the same. The elections would be held on due date only.

As per the suggestion from Kalera uncle, we would invite Apex Chairman and Secretary along with Mr Mansoor in the EGM.

Dear MC members,
Congratulations on the new appointments!
Although, if memory serves me right Mr Deshmukh had not acceded to the co option request during the EGM. Maybe he had a change of heart later. So, I am not certain if that can be minuted in this fashion.
Also,  I am not sure if he can be shown as proposing his own name for co option, as is recorded in the minutes.
Since the chairperson had expressed her desire to continue in her post and Mr Vijayvargia being best suited for the treasurer s post, can you let us know who will be looking after the business of the Gen. Sec.?
You very candidly accepted that it's an important post and needs to be filled up as Brig.  Sharma has resigned.
I think a thank you note is in order to him,  Kiran and Kamal for trying to keep this MC going.
Do let us all know the committee constitution so we can address our concerns to the correct person.

Dear MC,
Kindly peruse the trailing mail. This is just a reminder to the request made 5 days ago to please publicize the various posts held by the members.
If all of you are too busy at least let us know how many days would it take for you to acknowledge /respond to the said mail. That's not asking for too much. Lack of communication has been a long standing issue but unfortunately its not among the things we have become accustomed to.
