Can't sync with Gmail

When I try to sync in either of the two auth methods it tells
"Authorize failed, please authorize again".
Market shows version 0.4.9 (although in the app info in Android config
it shows "Version 46")
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro (running stock Android 2.1-update1)
I think it started two or three versions ago.
I've read that you're working on it, but just in case if you need
another log from another device just tell me...

Hi, I think I'm having a similar problem where I am unable to sync. I've tried xoauth and username/password.

I think my very first sync worked, and since then, nothing syncs.

I am getting a triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle where the spinning sync arrow usually sits. I don't know how to access the log, nor can I obtain any error message about the problem.

Is there anyway i can find out what the problem is here? Is there a log file somewhere for this?

Overall, the program is excellent and serves 90% of my needs.

Very pleased that there is a built in backup/import function.

Some other things would be nice

- a way to change the auto insert date format

- a way to add a data field to each note (like an number, text value etc) which can be looked at in a summary view later (i.e. expense amount, run distance, some personal rating, temperature etc)

- i'll think of more as I use it - still new to it

Double check you are show those notes in IMAP protocol 

mail.google.com -> Settings -> Labels -> Notes (or whatever label you're using) -> Show in IMAP

The same sync problem. But notes, that created on my android sync correctly. Sometimes it is ok. It seems, that depends on size of note.

is there a fix for the sync problem yet. I am on v 0.62 and still serious sync problems. Get the triangle error after sync almost every time. I have logged out and logged back in but not change. Can someone, preferrable the developer, advize on a fix for this.

As I posted somewhere here, I switched to sync with gnotes own service, http://gnotes.me, it is very useful and very easy to edit online.

The major benefit of this product is that you do not need another account in order to sync, and that something I use regularly already, gmail, shows lists I make on my phone.

Add me to the list of folks who can't sync, "Authorization failed"

Well, Im getting the same message on ICS on SGS3,

However, as far as I can tell.... The sync is functioning.

Maybe its just not occurring in background...

Gnotes only syncs 1 year back , i believe.. or it may have a limit of note in number... not sure

But not all my notes are synced,, and hence I cant do a complete search of my notes.

You should enabled IMAP on GMAIL. settings - > Forwarding and POP/IMAP -> Enable IMAP
