Hey Group,

I'm using Gnotes for few years now and I can't describe enough the comfort I'm having with this application. Not only on mobile, but really great on web too.

However recently I checked some stuff on the gnotes.me and found the platform is not secure as it should be.

In the first place, obviously the site isn't using a consistent HTTPS connection. So visitors can use plain HTTP also. For all these years I used a bookmark which directs me to the non secure site.
This is easily fixable by directing the user to secure connection I guess.

Then the question rise as how secure the saved notes. I'm faliry sure that Gnotes uses cloud storage service. I'm just asking hows the security of that saved data?
Are those encrypted? In which manner?

How secure are the mobile app's locally saved data? Are those also securely encrypted? Like nobody can recover those as plain text or sqlite?
Hows the mobile app connection is being made? is it secure?

Thanks,
Stephan
