Your call for help is a sign that you share the same hopes and delusions as the rest of us. The promise and potential of Gnotes is a vision in the mist.
I've made the mistake of hoping for it to be reliable and it has been a distinct problem. It is probably better if we just creat a document and sync it with any of the cloud storage services. If you like the user interface of Gnotes(I use the time and date insert) make a copy when you are done and paste that into something more reliable.
There have been a lot of people having un-responded-to questions regarding Gnotes. It seems that we don't have a collective answer and support from the developers was sporadic in the past. I've stopped looking for their support so I can't comment on recent efforts.
If you see something interesting... call us maybe.
Please consider odd word choices or typos as possible voice-to-text errors.
Gnotes suddenly stopped synching a couple of days ago, and I'm ASSuming the advertised 2.1.2 fixes whatever change that Google made. However, I can't download 2.1.2 to my phone (Droid Incredible on 2.1). I attempted upgrade, uninstalled and attempted fresh install (4 times)... upgrade did nothing. Fresh installs netted me a version that won't synch, and immediately tells me I need to upgrade. If I try to upgrade by clicking the in-app upgrade message, it takes me to Google store and shows me I've already installed it (it shows me "Open" and "Uninstall" buttons only). GTasks on my phone is my primary input method, so I'm dead in the water... I have "backup" on Gmail, of course, as well as a working Galazy Tab 10.1 (which upgraded to 2.1.2 fine). I don't know the inner workings of the Google store, but I am guessing that the Gtasks author forgot to check the "this works on 2.1" checkbox when the 2.1.2 package was posted for distribution. Heeelllllp.
