All,

Version 1.0.9b of gnome-mplayer, gmtk, and gecko-mediaplayer has been
released

Source files can be found here:

http://gnome-mplayer.googlecode.com/files/gnome-mplayer-1.0.9b.tar.gz

http://gmtk.googlecode.com/files/gmtk-1.0.9b.tar.gz

http://gecko-mediaplayer.googlecode.com/files/gecko-mediaplayer-1.0.9b.tar.gz

Apparently, Google is disabling the support of downloads from Google
Code project (probably to stop Warez) and so I will have to come up with
some other place to host tar files.

Was the "resume at time x" functionality removed? I wanted to file a bug
against it but it seems not to be there anymore.
The error was that the decimals were passed using comma as separator (as
per locale), but mplayer -ss seems to want colons regardless.

Best regards,
Julian

Julian,

I did not remove the feature, but you do need to compile with libgda support enabled for it to work and for the options to show. I don’t think I changed much around this function between 1.0.8 and 1.0.9b.

I’m gonna need some logs and assistance from you on the problem because the functionality does work for me.

Kevin,

it seems that it is working now, I am not sure why the feature seemed to
be gone. Moreover, resuming works. I looked at the log and seconds are
now passed without the decimals, which means the problem I was having
with 1.0.8 is gone as well.

Best regards,
Julian
