1.0.9b issue Settings schema 'apps.gnome-mplayer.preferences' does not contain a key named 'resume-mode'

Hello,
After 1.0.8 I tried to install 1.0.9 beta on ubuntu 13.10 and I got the following message:
(I used --prefix=/home/tichy/gnome-mplayer-installb)
$ bin/gnome-mplayer -v
(gnome-mplayer:27960): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'apps.gnome-mplayer.preferences' does not contain a key named 'resume-mode'
Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)
I think it searches the schema files in /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas, not in /home/tichy/gnome-mplayer-installb/share/glib-2.0.
When I tried install without --prefix (after removing 1.0.8), I had the same error, that I wrote in my latest email.

Did you happen to run “make install” as that will install all the files in the correct places for things to work.
For gnome-mplayer, my make uninstall script does pull everything out, so it is safe to install in /usr.
If you want you can manually copy the schema file to the correct location. If you want to avoid gsettings/gconf all together you can configure gmtk to use the keystore and then the .ini file will be created in your home directory.

Thanks for your answer! I made a default install, it fixed the problem.
(I used prefix, because I'd like to implement a new function in gnome-mplayer and I wanted to keep the original player as my default player).
I always have the former issue: I can't play the movie.
If I run with gnome-mplayer --vo=X11 it doesn't freezes and I can seek in the audio track.
Now the output:
It seems it found the codec, but the following lines are suspicious to me:

Can you update gmtk to version 1.0.9b as well.
Simple question, does mplayer play the file without issues? That is always a good basic check when things are not working.

I have slow connection at the moment, but tomorrow I can try it.

1. If I install mplayer2, with gnome-mplayer --vo=sdl option I can see the movie and seek it.
In this case mplayer2 comes in a new window, not embedded to the gnome-mplayer window, that doesn't respond.
2. If mplayer installed instead of mplayer2, it doesn't work.
3. If I use --vo=null option, I can seek the audio track of the movie without any problem.

sdl is not a great vo to use as it will not embed in all cases. Please use one of the options in the Edit -:> Preferences menu
mplayer2 should work with gnome-mplayer, but there are things that mplayer2 does different and so not all of those situations may be accounted for.

I installed gmtk to version 1.0.9b and nothing has changed. I'm out of further ideas.
