Basically as Alex said, GNOME Do is not officially part of GNOME. I
don't see that changing anytime soon either.

No blueprint needed. Its quite simple to pull out.

Yes, we decided this all on IRC. There have been random hintings at
it on the mailing list (I think) and in bug reports but nothing really
'official'.

Docky and Do are being totally split. To start with Docky2 will be
*just a dock*. We are aiming to get some form of integration with Do,
but I dont know if the first beta release will have that. They will
interoperate over dbus, at some point.

Launching applications is not directly tied into the Docky theme.
That works with any theme and will continue to work.

All of the current themes (other than Docky) are centered, so yes.
Feel free to write a new theme that isnt! Just dont make that theme
an actual dock. ;-)
