Dock not 'learning'?

My understanding was that gnome-do / docky will learn what apps I use
frequently. Only this doesn't seem to happen; although I start Firefox
and gnome-terminal all the time they never appear in the dock. I always
have to Start-Space:F or Start-Space:Te to start them. Yet Evolution,
Epiphany, gedit, and xchat do all appear in the dock [which seems to
make sense]. But vmware-workstations shows up as well, which I start
much less often. Am I misunderstanding something, misconfigured, or
possibly a bug?

I'm having this same problem. I've had the same 5 icons on my Docky
for months.

I imagine this is because Do's history/config file is corrupt, but I
don't know where it is in order to check it.

It is a mono app so I'd assume stuff is in .config/gnome-do but there
isn't much there. Occasionally I also have an issue where gnome-do
doesn't start when I log in, other times it does. If I start it
manually I get the [commented] messages at the bottom of this e-mail.
Don't know if they clarify anything.
