Senior Software Engineer

Position Summary:
The position will assist in the creation of user interface components
for TRE’s trading platform. The position will be responsible for
interpreting, designing and implementing technical solutions for
future platform enhancements as well as ongoing maintenance. The
position will report to the Chief Technology Officer.

Experience Required:
Candidates should have a minimum of four years work experience in user
interface development; additional software engineering experience is
preferred. Candidates should be prepared to submit code samples for
review during interview process.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation of user interface components as part of a pair
programming team using Flex in an Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR)
environment
Design to specific business and technical requirement specifications
Participate in the design of user interface functionality and overall
motif
Participate in ongoing refactoring processes
Meet designated schedule and release deadlines

Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of previous engineering work experience
Experience with AIR
Expertise with Flex in an AIR environment
Experience with Flash Builder
Familiarity with Java and C in a Unix environment
Familiarity with lean and scrum development methodologies

Education:
BA or BS in Computer Science
