good day ,
I have an USB to UART adapter installingbased on the ch340G chip.
I have installed the required driver but at the end the program says that it has been previously installed ( ? ! ). Windows does not recognise the adaptor and puts a yellow triangle on the control panel.
Any help please ?
Thanks
Ambro
I have an uno r3 with ch340G which I can talk to from my home w7 x64 notebook after I have installed the drivers.
On my desktop the drivers somehow do not communicate properly.
If I plug in the device windows recognized it and shows port 8 as new port.
When I try to transfer a sketch to the device it fails though with error message
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer ist not responding.
I have tried CH341s64.sys rev 3.3.2011.11 and 3.4.2014.8 without success
This driver will let you use USB to serial programmable devices with the ch340g/ch340c/ch314 chipsets. These programmable chips are used for small projects and some devices that have been converted for USB. There is a tutorial here on installation and other functions of the chip. If you are installing on a really old version of Windows such as Windows 98 make sure you install all the latest drivers for USB support, sometimes the unofficial Windows 98 Service packs are the best way. Devices using ESP8266 Chipset are often interfaced with the CH340 chip.
Hello im back and have a question or idea. First i have a Aufero laser 1 5000, mm/min 24v 2amp machine. Firmware 1.8 ortur i have a ofline controller mb 9th generation 32bit olm-esp pro v1.2 and running 32bit windows 10 on a lenevo thinkpad my GBRL version 4.7.1 lasergbrl . I notced when i try to add the gbrl tbrough devices there is a manual tab that lets you choose a list of devices. I expected to see mine since it is fairly new. The reason for tbis is the software will not find my device automatically and i need to add it manually . This is what i did i downloaded gbrl and just used this to operate my machine. But, i have a lot of problems with the software communicating corectly with the hardware. Next i installed laserGBRL and unistalled thre version of GBRL. I expected to go back and the software would automatically find it. But, know when i start the program it says im disconnected. So, i read some more and aded the $32=1 option. It said file added. Know, i want to know how i can get my gbrl to devices or can i import it as there is a tab for tbis. Also wbich gblr do i choose like GBRL,gbrl lpc or one of tbe others to match my harware . Do i have to pic a gbrl ? I hope this makes sense. Thank you
Good day. We currently deploy our own drivers for Windows 32bit and 64bit. I am trying to update the USBSerial driver to work on Windows 11 ARM. Based on the documentation i am finding, i thought it would be as simple as adding the ARM64 block, but it will not work.
