Jai Bol Sathgurunath Maharaj Ki Jai.
Radhekrishna. By the infinite Grace and Blessings of Sathgurunathar, the Government of Tamil Nadu’s Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department has investigated the complaints made against the conduct and activities of named individuals as trustees of G A Trust and has now passed a legal Verdict on 31/12/2019 based on the provisions under the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act. Truth has prevailed.
According to the attached written Verdict:
G A Trust has no jurisdiction over Sri Gnanananda Giri Peetam or the Pontiffs (The Madaathipas) or the temples and any assets, movable and immovable, that was obtained by using the name of the Gurus of this Guru Parampara. The Madaathipathi alone has overall authority.
All the temples, it’s properties and assets and the right to hold any religious functions and other activities on its premises and under the name of the Peetam belongs to the Guru Parampara and the reigning Madaathipathi only. G A Trust do not have that right and has historically never had that right.
G A Trust is a secular trust that was created by Guruji for charitable purposes. However the trustees did not fulfil those purposes either. [The eyewash of statements submitted to the Government of India talking about non existent schools and what not, the less said the better, on the charitable purposes point, for the sake of keeping this summary as short as possible.]
The previous and current G A Trust trustees have committed a criminal offence (the Government’s words) in collecting crores of money over the years in the name of the Gurus of the Guru Parampara, from devotees of the Peetam within India and overseas countries and in putting it in their own account and spending it. Instead of putting it in the account of the Matam under the authority of the Madaathipathi.
The previous and current G A Trust married trustees have committed a grave offence (the Government’s words) in concealing the existence of the Guru Parampara and requesting for the scheme that puts them and their family members for five successive generations, in charge of the Peetam’s temples and other activities. This scheme, which they obtained by deceit, yet did not even follow the rules of as trustees (they did not even put the monies collected in the temple account as stated by the law under which they applied for the scheme) has now been made null and void and the trustees have been disqualified by the Government. The Madaathipathi is now fully in charge.
The Madaathipathi has not given G A Trust and its trustees the authority to administer or appoint anyone to administer the Peetam/ Mutt, temples and all movable and immovable assets.
The above is the summary of the verdict. The actual verdict is also attached with this email for those who want to read it.
So, what do we understand from it?
As is the case in every other sensible governing structure and in particular the Hindu Paramparya, any trust or trustees, specially formed to assist a Madaathipathi will be governed by the Madaathipathi and His divine successors, not vice versa as it was unfortunately and shamefully demonstrated (and allowed by a significant proportion of the devotees) in this case.
Married men and their family members cannot succeed a renounced Saint as Managing Trustee and not only take up His position but also rule over the Saints who succeeded in the same lineage. Therefore the breach of trust committed by the former and present trustees of G A Trust towards Guruji, Namaji and Swamiji is complete and acknowledged by the Government. Ultimately, as the truly faithful know, the breach committed was directly against Sathgurunathar.
And...
The inter-related two families trustees of G A Trust are also under continued investigation by other Government departments for other related offences, including to do with the unauthorised collection of money. Furthermore those related to them and are currently collecting funds publicly on their behalf in certain other countries have also been placed under covert investigation by their own countries’ authorities.
WARNING: As the G A Trust cannot be in administration of or collect any funds or conduct any functions on behalf of or on properties belonging to the Sri Gnanananda Giri Peetam and its reigning Madaathipathi of the Guru Parampara, anyone, both in country and abroad, who is deemed to have given money to those belonging to or representing or working for the G A Trust will be placed under investigation by Government authorities.
Radhekrishna.
