We have heard from Guruji that AadhiShankara had established 4 Peetams at the corners of India to protect Sanatana Dharma and also spread its values..These PEETAMS were assigned to be managed by renouned Disciples of AdhiGuru after hand picking them .AdhiShankara after conquering  various renouned Scholars of all the then prevailing religious faiths, ascended to the throne of SARVAGYA Peetam thereby called SarvagyaMoorthi.
Many a time we heard Satguru GnananandaGiriSwamigal of Thapovanam invoked Sarvagya Moorthi ki jai..
Our Guruji Swami Haridasa Giri Swamigal who under the express orders of His Master to spread Namasankeertan all over the world, had established a  Peetam under " Gnanananda GiriPeetam " at Tennangur near Chennai in Taminadu India. Is it not first instance that a Disciple establishing a Peetam for HIS MASTER?.
During one of visits to Thapovanam in 1972, I had the privilege to meet RamSuratKumar Swamigal there. When He asked me my idendity,I told Him that Guruji took me to Swami at Thapovanam. He inturn, asked me to show Gurujis photo which I did.On seeing Guruji s photo , He remarked in Tamil"THAI 8 ADI PAAINTHAL KUTTY 16 ADI PAAYUM".
However Guruji remained humble paying obeyence  to Swami always and insisted all His disciples do the same.He remains Disciple par excellence in our times.
As Swami propogated to sing Namasankeertan in Kaliyug, Guruji built a hall exclusively for Namasankeertan at Tennangur. Now it is upto us to carry forward what He  taught us.
This small piece of inf is to remind me often of Guruji s commands.
