[Gnana Deepam Trust] SPARK 2011

Dear all,

I am happy to inform that Gnana Deepam Trust is conducting an Arts Festival called "SPARK 2011 - SPorts, ARts & Knowledge" for the unprivileged children at Perambalur. The main objective of the festival is to act as a platform for the unprivileged children to show their talents.

I have attached a spreadsheet with details like Competitions, Teams, Schedule & Budget of the festival. (We are yet to fill the check list & requisitions). The festival will be inaugurated by the duo of D.E.O & A.E.O. We are expecting the Trichy collector to be the chief guest for the valedictory function & prize distribution. However, it has not been finalised yet. The various competitions that are to be conducted are as follows

1. English Essay.
2. English Speech.
3. Thamizh Essay.
4. Thamizh Speech.
5. Drawing/Painting/Sketching.
6. Dance Competition
   
7. Singing Competition
   
8. Fancy Dress Competition
9. Quiz Competition.
   

Anyone of you who wish to join the function is most welcome. You can join any of the teams mentioned in spreadsheet. Alternatively if you wish to judge any events you are most welcome. The participants will only be up to class 10 & so you are most welcome to judge the events. I am looking for judges and if you have any contacts who can be judges, kindly inform me.

Also the festival is budgeted to Rs35,000/- As of now we have asked for a school in Perambalur & they are optimistic about it. In case if they are unable to provide us the place an additional Rs3000 will add to the budget. So the maximum budget of the competition will be Rs40,000/-
