வணக்கம்,
It is with great happiness & immense pleasure that I write(type) this mail. The event at ARUMBUGAL AALAYAM (
www.arumbugalaalayam.org) went on great! Incidentally it was the easiest event(in terms of the work that we had to do) that we ever did.
First of all, I wish to thank & congratulate Shiv for his works. He did the whole work!
Secondly, I thank the whole team for its endeavour to make happiness in the 30+ hearts!
I thank all the donors, without whose contributions the event wouldnt have been possible. I also wish to thank all those who were unable to attend but were very eager to do so. I also wish to congratulate Ram Prasath for collecting funds at VEL tech.
The Managing Trustee of the Arumbugal Aalayam Mr.Suresh Babu was very cordial with us & he truly is a role model! Although he always had the heart to work for the society he started this endeavour after being inspired by the young man (Oh... I forgot his name) who helped the tsunami victims regardless of being poor & physically challenged. The young man's commitment to the society made Mr.Suresh Babu to do what he is doing now. The ordeals faced by the kids(most of whom were bonded child labourers) were hard on ears & harder on heart.
I have attached a spreadsheet which contains most of the information regarding the event. If you happen to have any more questions I will be happy to discuss the same.
The link to the photographs taken by Shiv.
The event will soon be updated in the blog site.
I once again thank you all for taking the pain in reading the mail.
With thanks,
Angarayan.
