Hello parents and students:
We are coming to the end of our 2009 – 2010 season and would like to offer you all the opportunity to collaborate in The Tempo Times newsletters final issue for this season. Parents and students as well may submit articles and pictures for consideration to be published in the final newsletter. Thankfully we have had a very good season. Throughout the year our members have participated in numerous concerts, collaborations and ensembles. We also have members that have rightfully earned their spots in prestigious upper level academic high schools. You may choose to inform us if your child/children have advanced in their group as well.
The first publication of The Tempo Times was distributed in early January. Therefore among the articles we hope to receive are those in reference to events that have taken place since January. We would encourage that students submit the articles yet all entries are taken into consideration. Any article is welcome and will be considered for publication. Parents keep in mind that whether or not your article is published you will still be given credit hours toward your parent agreements which were signed at the beginning of the year. We realize that everyone has a busy schedule yet we request that the articles be in by Monday, April 19th, 2010 to ensure that we have the final newsletter in time for the last concert of the season.
