Dear Friends of the Arts,
I am volunteering for The Children's Trust Campaign and helping them
spread the word about the importance of the upcoming election. Please

Vote YES to keep The Children's Trust in Miami-Dade County!

Vote YES for continued funding of programs for children and
families!

Vote YES this August 26!

The Children's Trust funds:

Programs to reduce violence and keep children safe
After-school and summer programs
Programs that improve the educational quality of child care
Health care teams in public schools

WHY IT MATTERS TO YOU:
The Children's Trust and the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural
Affairs partner to:

increase support to cultural groups dedicated to arts programs for
kids
give thousands of children the chance to participate in arts
experiences in their schools, after care programs and in their
neighborhood art centers
provide summer arts and science camp scholarships for kids who
otherwise would not have the opportunity to participate in such
programs
inaugurate new inclusive arts programs for children with disabilities
In 2008, this partnership lead to an investment of 1.5 million dollars
that reached more than 200,000 children and youth.
