I have read that there is a "-c" command which allows me to "enable/disable the removal from the gmvault db of emails that have been deleted from the given gmail account". However, I don't understand specifically how to use this command and I would appreciate an example. My goal is to make a backup of every email in my gmail account but NOT delete that email from the gmvault backup when I delete it from how gmail account. Please provide me with an example

Hi Bruce,

If you want to keep everything for ever in the gmvault-db, all you have to do is:
$> gmvault sync mye...@gmail.com -c no

Then the database cleaning will never be launched and all the emails removed from your account will stay in Gmvault-db.

Cheers,
Guillaume

I hope someone sees this! I missed this crucial option. Is there anyway to restore messages that were removed from the database?
