It would be great if photos attached to emails were automatically
added to their own folder in Picasa.

I don't agree that it should be automatic, but I do think there should be a link at the bottom of the email similar to when you get Word or Excel attachments. If it was automatic, people's Picasa Web accounts would fill up quite quickly.
