Subject: Save the date!  The Native Plant Sale (formerly held on 3601 Valley Drive) will be held Saturday, Sept. 27!

Dear Listserv Owner,
Please post the following notice of the Northern Alexandria Native Plant Sale if you deem it appropriate for your listserv.  Thanks for your consideration.

------------------------
Save the date!  The Native Plant Sale formerly held on 3601 Valley Drive is renamed the "Northern Alexandria Native Plant Sale" and will be held Saturday, September 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  This is the 11th anniversary and the 23rd occurrence of this twice-a-year, non-profit, community plant sale.  I expect this event will again host 16 vendors from four states this fall.

Please note that the event has been moved to The Church of St. Clement at 1701 N. Quaker Lane, Alexandria, VA  22302.  (This new location is still near Shirlington and is about a half-mile from Parkfairfax.)

DIRECTIONS TO NEW LOCATION:
The Church of St. Clement is inside I-495 Beltway, near Shirlington & Parkfairfax.  From I-395, exit Shirlington/Quaker onto Quaker.  After the first light on Quaker, take the next left on Crestwood.  Find your parking space on Crestwood or nearby.  The sale will be visible on the right at Quaker & Oakcrest (at 1701 N. Quaker Lane).

Please pass this email along to any interested friends.  This native plant sale depends on word-of-mouth support.  If you would like to post a flyer at work or your local coffee shop, download an updated flyer for the sale from the website at http://home.earthlink.net/~sknudsen/id1.html.

Thanks for helping to spread the word!

Cheers,
Scott Knudsen
