Are you teaching your students how to worship?  Spirit and Truth: Teaching Kids the Heart of Worship is a full year Sunday school curriculum for PreK though 6th grades that teaches students why we do what we do in Lutheran worship, focusing on the themes and texts of our liturgy and main festivals of the church year.  This curriculum addresses the challenge that if we don't engage our children in worship while they are young, we might not have the opportunity when they get older!

All too often it feels like we get in a rut of only going through the motions of worship, and we forget the meaning behind what we do. It was great to have a curriculum that helped our kids explore what worship is about and actually get excited about it!

Congregations can purchase individual lessons, the Liturgy Lessons, the Church Year Lessons, or the whole year at a discount!  In addition, 10% of the purchase price will be donated to Lutheran World Relief to further their “work with Lutherans and partners around the world to end poverty, injustice and human suffering.” (LWR Mission Statement).  More information about the Spirit and Truth curriculum, including a Scope and Sequence of lessons, a full sample lesson, and price lists, is available at www.SpiritAndTruthPublishing.com
