Network Meeting and Introduction of our New Cross+Gen Director!

Hey folks - here's a quick reminder that we're meeting next Thursday, February 13, from 10 am - 11:30 am at Our Savior's Lutheran in Oconomowoc. Thanks to Jim Fields for hosting! Our topic next week is 'You Can't Do It Alone: How To Cultivate a Team of Leaders in Your Congregation.' We'll be discussing strategies for recruiting, equipping and retaining ministry leaders in your individual contexts. Come with your questions and insights to share. For those wanting some continued fellowship, Jim will gives us a couple of options for a place to have lunch together. I realize that this locations is further out, so we should carpool! It would be great to have at least one car from the south side of the synod, the north side, one from Brookfield/Waukesha and one from Milwaukee drive to Oconomowoc. Also, we are happy to introduce the new Director of Cross+Generational Ministry for the Greater Milwaukee Synod: Stephanie Luedtke. Stephanie is new to the GMS, having served most recently at a congregation in the Knoxville, TN area. The interview team was extremely impressed with her credentials, her experience, and her vision for the future of Cross+Gen ministry in the GMS. Her official start date is February 4. Our extremely cold winter has been a terrible reception to Stephanie and her family; lets give her a warm welcome at February's network meeting.
