I installed the Gmote server on my computer, but when I try to run the program it says I need to install Java 1.6. The link that it provides me brings me to a download page of Java 7, which I installed (Yes, I removed my previous version of Java beforehand) to encounter the same error message. I've googled "Java 1.6" but have not come across any sites that I find reliable.  Could someone point me in the right direction (preferrably with links included) so that I can start using Gmote? Thanks

The problem can be resolved, you need to install the 32-bit version of java. You can do that besides the 64-bit version you probably have.
That solved my problem!
