Unable to connect to gmote

Hello, 

The problem i continue having is "Connection problem", when i run the debug file, it shows me another ip address (different than the one in "Help- Show local ip address"), if i enter that IP address manually it doesn't fined it and just keeps showing me the same IP address on the PC/phone, again i try to connect but it shows:

Connecting to the server

Connection problem

Example 

PC/Phone:

192.###.#.##

Debug file:

192.###.#.**

I have already gone through the tutorials, shown in http://www.gmote.org/faq.html

any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated, i really enjoy using Gmote and it would be a shame if i was no longer able to do so.
