I can't seem to install the gmote server on my Windows 7 computer.
When I try it says, "bad end of central directory record" and that is
it. I bought this to use for teaching on an XP but would love to see
this work on my Windows 7 PC at home.

Thanks

Hi dude,

i have Win7 pro 64 and it works, maybe try updating your Java virtual
machine (the 32bit version as well as the 64bit version, this has to
be chosen separately on the java homepage!)...

best regards!

Installed on Win7, 64bit - no issue, worked right away.

I had this issue "bad end of central directory record"tried running as admin etc but the only thing that sorted it was to download again, looks like the exe gets corrupted sometimes so just keep trying by downloading until you get a decent download then you should be ok.

I now have Gmote running fine on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate SP1 all updates.
