Hello,

I have just downloaded the Gmote server but after I try to run it it crashes. Below is my system details:

  Ubuntu GNU/Linux 11.04
  Linux emre-laptop 2.6.38-15-generic-pae #61-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 12 19:32:42 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

  java version "1.7.0_05"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_05-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 23.1-b03, mixed mode)

VLC media player 1.1.9 The Luggage (revision exported)
VLC version 1.1.9 The Luggage (exported)
  Compiled by buildd on vernadsky.buildd (Jul 21 2011 11:32:22)
  Compiler: gcc version 4.5.2 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.5.2-8ubuntu4)

I have also temporarily disabled the firewall.

When I try to run the server:

I have this same error in Ubuntu 14.04 on a 64bit PC. The phone does connect fine to the server, but when opening a file, the server shows the error and stops.

Couldn't find anything in the internet or this Google Group.
