Vigilantes Inc premieres in
Oakland, Atlanta, Madison
And you can host a screening in your town
by Greg Palast
Join me tomorrow, Wednesday, September 25, for the one-night showing of my new film,
Vigilantes Inc., America’s New Vote Suppression Hitmen, at the beautiful
Grand Lake Theatre, 3200 Grand Avenue, Oakland CA, 7:30pm. $20 tax-deductible donation. Q&A after.

Vigilantes Inc. is busting out across the nation, with screenings planned in Atlanta (with Black Voters Matter, NAACP), Madison, Houston, DC (with the Congressional Black Caucus), Chicago (with RainbowPUSH). We will release the details soon.
And on October 2, the 650,000-member Progressive Democrats of America will host a free on-line showing—I’ll join the Q&A after.
Now YOU can screen the film at your university, church, massage circle, political action club, tractor pull…you name it. Tell us where and when and we will send you, a download link, a Blu-Ray or DVD—even a “DCP” for commercial theaters. And, depending on the size of the audience, Greg Palast can drop in, virtually or in-person. We have DVDs for fundraising, posters and everything you need to Save Your Vote. And DO give us the details of your screening and we'll post them on our Grassroots screenings section.
And remember,
you can
stream Vigilantes Inc. for no charge at the site Leonardo DiCaprio launched for us.
“Vigilantes Inc. rings with the kind of truth we must have more of in this country if we are to retain even the shambles of our democracy.” –
Channel NonFiction
Narrated by Rosario Dawson and produced by Martin Sheen, George DiCaprio and Maria Florio (Oscar, Best Documentary).
“Mind-blowing. You must see this film.” - Thom Hartmann

And bring the popcorn. This isn’t a PBS white-guys-in-front-of-a-bookcase documentary; this is Palast, in his fedora, hunting down the bad guys. Dare I say it? It’s ENTERTAINING.
Our producer, Martin Sheen (yes, “President Bartlet”) explains,
“Vigilantes Inc., follows the heroic investigative reporter Greg Palast as he uncovers a group of 40,000 MAGA volunteers whose efforts have already challenged the voting rights of 851,000 eligible voters, with a goal of 2 million by November 5th.”
Palast catches these vigilantes on camera, including one dressed like Doc Holliday—with his loaded 6-shooter—who blocked the vote of 4,000 Americans, most of them Black soldiers, including MAJ Gamaliel Turner. Palast and the Major confront the vote rustlers in scenes humorous, weird and dangerous.
The Mt. Sinai African Methodist Episcopal Church in North Carolina is one of many churches and groups asking to hold screenings in communities targeted by these vigilante creeps.
Rev. Jesse Jackson’s RainbowPUSH is showing the film to church groups nationwide. The Transformative Justice Coalition is showing it at young voter training sessions in 30 cities.
Our foundation wants to offer churches and groups the film and DVDs for no charge to alert their communities. We have a whole team working hard on getting the word out and planning all these events. With your backing we can pull it off!
See you at the movies!
