acommodation for the April 2013 GMOD meeting in Cambridge

Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm contacting you regarding the next April 2013 GMOD meeting in Cambridge, UK.


I'll be attending the Biocuration meetig after that (staying at Chuchill College). But there are not rooms available for the 5-6 april already!

Are you planning to reserve a block of rooms for the people attending the meeting, or are we suposse to find the acommodation on our own? (there are not too many rooms available for that period!)

Dear Betina,

Thank you for your email. If you contact Churchill College, you should be able to secure accommodation there for £60.00 (+ VAT) per night for a single en suite room; this price includes a full English breakfast. If you contact Kelly Bridge, Conference Accommodation Coordinator at kelly....@chu.cam.ac.uk, she can arrange it for you. I will be investigating alternatives and posting them on the wiki over the next few weeks.

If you haven't yet done the GMOD Community Survey, can I encourage you to do so? Go to http://gmod.org/survey.html to fill it out; we will be discussing the results at the meeting in April.
