The power steering seems to be doing fine, but the pulley has a slight wobble at idle - clears up as the RPMs go up.  From underneath, by hand, I can get a slight side to side movement on the pulley.  Also, the alternator belt looks like it might be turned in a degree or two coming up from the pump which in turn implies to me the pump pulley is not aligned.  Is this a common condition that just needs to be watched?  Or is there an adjustment I can make?  The manual doesn't seem to address this sort of issue.
Thanks for your help.

Jim,

If you can move the pulley side to side, your problem is more than visual.
It's loose on the shaft and the condition will inevitably get worse,
probably catastrophically. You need to try to tighten the pulley and if
that's not possible, replace the pump.

Ken,

That pulley is pressed on to the pump shaft (ref. MM-X-7525 / Section 9 - Steering / Page 9-15 / Figure 8 - Pulley Removal - Special
Tool J-25034 so if it is "wobbling" I would suggest that Jim remove the belt and try to move the pulley. I checked Parts Book 78Z /
Section 16 - Steering / Page 16-20 / Figure 16.060 Pump - Hydraulic Power Steering

Key 14 - KIT - ret. ring and drive shaft & Key 22 - Housing Assy

It appears that the shaft runs directly on a bore in the housing, there are no bearings. If the pulley wobbles when Jim tries to
move it I would suspect that the shaft or housing are worn.

Mine does also, I noticed when setting the remaining belts up to get home recently. I have the correct belts on order. A cursory look indicates the
spacer which gets the pump pulley aligned may be missing, which cocks the pump and increases the side load on the front bushing. Fortunately, the
pulley is large enough to get a straightedge on it upon reinstallation and ensuring everything is on the same plane - and shimming as needed if it
isn't. Which I will be doing.
