Will someone please post what size sockets fits the LUG nuts(wheel nuts)
On a GMC Motorhome. Would Alcoas have the same size nuts ?
Thanks in advance.

Dave,

The standard lugnuts are 7/8.

The Alcoa are not. As I recall, the only set I know is 15/16, but don't bet your lunch money on that.

Thanks, sounds like I need to take handfull of sockets.
I may be involved in a "coach rescue" this week.

Back in 1990, a person in Washinton published a list of all the tool sizes
one need to work on the coach.
I believe name was FRY.
He passed away about 10 years ago.
He passed out the list at western States.

Yeah but some of the newer replacement parts are metric. Brake booster studs for instance. When I find these "features" I label them with the MM's
so I don't go nuts trying to get a "real" wrench to fit.

I was putting together a traveling tool kit for the coach and was not going to put metric in it until I remembered the above and realized the Toad was
also metric.
