Hello everyone again,
Still progressing on my quest to resurrect my 73 Canyonlands. While I’m waiting for parts to finish my brakes, I found on the forum a part number for the upper radiator hose and of course I thought to myself “Yes I need that!” The Autozone part number is 885202073. Took it home put it on and to my thinking its an inch or two too short. It fits but not to my comfort level. Anyone have other numbers? Upper and lower.

While under the hood, I noticed the two boots at each end of the oil fill tube are cracked. Any thought there?

I’m starting to worry about how I can repay all of this valuable help. Just saying……

Check Gene's site for radiator hose numbers....

JimK at Applied GMC has some nice silicone oil fill elbows. Probably has the radiator hoses as well.

Why don't they sell spray paint that washes off with soap and water for graffiti vandals to use?

Go to the GMCMI parts list. I updated and corrected that entry with them about 2 or 3 years ago.

The NAPA number for the lower was 8796. It used to include the inner spring, maybe still does. You need to cut about 4 to 5 inches off one end.
Just hold it up next to your old hose and you will see how much to cut.

Please do assist in keeping these numbers current. Garbage in, garbage out.
We recently had the NAPA numbers updated. Please supply any updated
information so that the GMC Community can all benefit from it. Thank you.

That should have been for a 403 upper as only the GM Part# is available and it does not cross to any other hose that I have been looking at. Nothing in the parts interchange.
