Gene posted:
Chuck, are you going to be at GMCWS Palm Desert rally with your
baggers and brakers
on your coach?

Yes, Gene I will be there with the 4-link rear brake modification on
my coach that anyone that wants to can look at. I will not be giving
any seminars on the brake mod as I have turned that over to Jim K.
He has been out of contact the last two weeks so I don't know if he
will have the production version for sale at the rally or if he is
giving a seminar on it similar to what he did at GMCMI. I know he
has a lot of video of of the numerous braking test we ran it February
on Rick Flanagan GMC with the first production prototype system
installed. Everything worked as expected and there were no
modification required so I assume he is getting some units manufactured.

I do not have the two-to-four air bag modification on my coach
because Jim gave me a set of the Qudrabags when I was at his place in
February running the brake testing. I only have the Qudrabags
installed on one side at the current time and will be driving it to
the rally that way. I got sidetracked designing an electric parking
that I will have on my coach at the rally. I will also have a table
model of it at the rally for display. This parking brake is so
powerful that it will hold the back of my GMC up with all the air out
of the air bags. If you go to the GMC photo site and look under
"chuckieboy" you can see some photos of the version on My GMC. I
know you do not need one as you have the electric solenoid valve to
look up the brake pressure on your coach. This parking brake is
designed to install on GMCs that have the Qudrabag system but it can
be used on any GMC by making a mounting plate similar to the outer
frame of the Qudrabag system. The one I will have on display at the
rally is one I made for Rick Flanagan for all of his great design
work he did for the Qudrabag system, the 2/4 air bay system and the 4-
link rear brake mod.

Chuck:

What could you tell me about the aluminum/fiberglass/aluminum honeycomb material you are using on the underside of your fuel tanks? I've been trying to find a suitable source for a couple of applications, like fire-resistant floor replacement around the engine bay, the fuel-tank insulation you have done, as well as some possible body mods.

Thanks,

Mark
