Oh made 2 mistakes..

1)   B is not || 

her discovery of the earliest direct evidence of hominid activity = NOUN PHRASE

   painstakingly documenting East African cave paintings = VERB PHRASE

2) D & E can have Leakey's because of "her" a possessive noun, D is || as her is followed by Noun Phrases in both cases.
